Chet Letters – September 3rd, 1948

Betty:

Hi, it is to hot for me here and I miss the fellows at home, so don’t send any of those pictures unless I say so.

I am trying to talk them into letting me go home. If I can’t I’ll be home sometime anyway. If there is some place to stay, that is? So far I haven’t seen anything that everybody talks of to make Calf. so much.

/s/ Chet

PS Consider yourself lucky because you are the first one I have written besides the letters to JoAnn.
