Chet Letters – November 22, 1951

Fort Ord, California

Dear Betty & Jr.

Well today is Thanksgiving and we are getting no passes, but it is raining and cold so it doesn’t make much different. It has been raining for the last two weeks and damned cold, so I have another cold and don’t feel too good.

We haven’t got any news here so I haven’t much to say just to keep out of the snow. Has Jr. been doing any ice-fishing yet? Well I must see if I can get any mail from Dick, he hasn’t written back yet, must be busy.

I have a new address now it is Company G of the 20th Inf.

Nothing more to say now.

/s/ Chet
